How do I play?

The numbers beside each row and column say how many cells in a row are filled, in order. Work the grid out line by line to reveal the picture. A one-minute interactive tutorial opens the first time you play; replay it from Settings, How to play, or from the menu on a puzzle. Stuck? A hint shows the next logical step and explains why it works.

Do I ever have to guess?

No. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and the game’s solver checks that you can reach it by logic alone.

When does the daily picture change?

Once a day, and it is the same picture for everyone. Solve it to keep your streak going.

Will I lose my progress?

Nonogami has no account and no cloud save: your progress lives on your phone. Uninstalling the game or Settings, Erase all progress deletes it, unless your phone’s own backup restores it.

Why do I see ads?

Free players see an occasional ad after a solved puzzle, never during one. The Hint button shows a video icon and an AD badge when a hint will play a short video. Remove Ads turns every ad off and makes hints free. Where the law asks for consent, Settings, Privacy choices changes your answer at any time. More in the privacy policy.

Turn daily reminders on or off

Reminders are off until you turn them on in Settings. You get at most two a day, only while today’s picture is unsolved. Turn them off with the same switch or in your phone’s notification settings.

Change the language

Nonogami follows your phone’s language, in any of 36. To pick another, open Settings, Language.

Restore Remove Ads

Open Settings and tap Restore purchases, signed in to the same Google Play or Apple account you bought it with.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their own policies.
