Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Jogiba Gaming games collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who we are
Jogiba Gaming is an independent game studio based in India, run by a single developer. It is a trading name, not an incorporated company, and this page will be updated if that changes.
For everything in this policy, Jogiba Gaming is the party responsible for deciding what data is collected and why. The one address that reaches us for any privacy question, request or complaint is support@jogiba.com.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to every game published by Jogiba Gaming and to this website. At the time of writing that means:
- Arrow Rush, on Android and iPhone
- Fletch!, on Android
- Taash Adda, on Android
Each game also publishes its own privacy policy, with the details for that game: Arrow Rush , Fletch! , Taash Adda , LogicBrew , LexiBrew , Nonogami , Drip Mix , Trimosa , Bolt Zip and Imli .
Not every section applies to every game. A game that has no leaderboard does not collect leaderboard data. Where a feature is optional, this policy says so, and optional means you can use the game fully without it.
The short version
Our games are built to work offline, without an account, and without knowing who you are. If you never sign in and never submit a score, we hold no personal information about you at all. Your progress lives on your device.
Everything below is optional and is off unless you turn it on:
- rewarded ads, which you choose to watch
- analytics and crash reporting, which are pseudonymous
- cloud save, which needs a Google sign in
- public leaderboards, which show a name you choose
- subscriptions, which are handled entirely by Google Play
We do not sell your data. We have no interest in your contacts, your photos, your precise location or your phone number, and we never ask for them.
Information stored on your device
Our games save your progress locally. Depending on the game that includes high scores, coins, levels reached, streaks, statistics, unlocked items and your settings such as music, sound and vibration.
This local data:
- is not linked to your identity unless you enable cloud save;
- never leaves your device unless you sign in or submit a score;
- is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its app data.
What we collect
We collect only what the optional features below actually need. Our games contain no chat with strangers, no messaging, no media sharing and no friend feeds. Where a game has any user-provided content at all, it is a display name you choose for a leaderboard.
We never collect contacts, photos, precise location, phone numbers, SMS or your device's file contents.
Advertising
Our games are free, and advertising is what pays for them. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure them, Google may collect and process:
- device advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID;
- ad interaction data, meaning impressions and clicks;
- approximate device information such as model, operating system version and language, used for ad delivery and fraud prevention.
This processing happens under Google's own policies, which you can read at the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses advertising data.
Three commitments about ads, in plain language.
- No banner ads during gameplay. A banner sits under your thumb while you play and turns ordinary taps into accidental clicks, so we never place one over a live game. Where a game shows a banner at all, it is only on a static screen such as a menu.
- Rewarded ads are always your choice. A video that earns you something, such as a hint, a second chance or coins, plays only when you ask for one.
- Full-screen ads wait for a break. Some games show a full-screen ad on their own, but only at a natural break, such as the end of a run, a level or a match, and never in the middle of play.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time in your device settings. On Android that is Settings, Google, Ads, where you can delete your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation. In the European Economic Area and the UK, a consent prompt is shown before any personalised ad is served, and you can change that choice later in the game's settings. Where a game offers a subscription that removes ads, subscribers are not shown them.
Analytics and crash reporting
We use Google Firebase, specifically Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config, to understand how the games are used in aggregate, to fix crashes, and to tune game balance without shipping an update. Firebase may collect:
- pseudonymous event data, such as sessions played or features used;
- device identifiers and coarse device information;
- crash logs and diagnostics, including the device state at the time.
This data is aggregated and pseudonymous, and we do not use it to identify individual players. Remote Config downloads tuning values to your device using a pseudonymous installation identifier and no personal data. Firebase's own practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
On this website
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits
and see which pages are read, in aggregate. It sets Google's analytics
cookies (_ga and _ga_*, kept for up to two
years) and sends Google the pages you open, your browser and device
type, and an approximate location, which Google works out from your IP
address without storing it. It does not load at all if your browser
sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or if your device is set
to a European time zone. Nothing else on this website uses cookies or
tracking.
Accounts and cloud save
Cloud save is off by default and requires you to sign in with Google.
- If you sign in, we receive from your Google account your email address, your display name and a Google user ID. These exist only to link your save to you so you can restore progress on another device.
- If you do not sign in, a game may still create an anonymous identity, which is a random ID not connected to your name or email. It is used only to publish a leaderboard entry if you submit one, and it cannot be recovered after an uninstall.
When cloud save is on, we store your gameplay progress, meaning scores, coins, statistics, unlocked items and streaks, in Google Cloud Firestore, keyed to your user ID. No messages and no media are stored, because our games have none. Data is encrypted in transit. Signing out leaves your progress on the device; deleting your account removes the cloud copy permanently.
Leaderboards and contests
If a game has an online leaderboard and you choose to submit to it, the entry contains a display name you control, your score and rank, the date, and a pseudonymous user ID used only as a database key and never shown to anyone.
Your chosen display name and score are visible to other players. Nothing else is. Not your email, not your purchases, not your device, not your statistics. If you would rather not appear publicly, choose a nickname that does not identify you, or simply play offline. You can change your display name at any time, and deleting your account removes your entries.
Subscriptions and payments
Where a game offers an optional subscription, it is sold through Google Play Billing.
Payment details, meaning card numbers and billing addresses, are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see them and never store them. We receive only a pseudonymous purchase token used to check whether your subscription is active. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play, Payments and subscriptions.
No real money gaming. None of our games involve wagering, betting, entry fees, cash prizes or any way to convert in-game currency into money. In-game coins are earned by playing, cannot be bought, cannot be transferred between players, and have no monetary value whatsoever.
Legal bases and sharing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- your consent, for cloud save, Google sign in, leaderboard participation and personalised ads where consent is required;
- performance of a contract, for subscriptions;
- legitimate interest, in operating, improving and funding a free game, which covers analytics, crash reporting and fraud prevention.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with data brokers. Data is shared only with the Google services named in this policy, meaning AdMob, Firebase and Google Play, and only as far as needed to provide the features you have turned on. These services may process data outside India, including in the United States, under Google's own safeguards.
Depending on where you live you may have rights under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the EU or UK GDPR, or comparable local law. We apply the rights described in the next section to everyone, regardless of where you are.
Your rights, access and deletion
You are in control of your data.
- Delete from inside the game. Where a game has cloud save, its settings contain a delete option that permanently removes your cloud save, your leaderboard entries and the account link.
- Delete from the web. Full instructions, including how to request deletion by email if you no longer have the app, are on the account deletion page.
- Delete local data. Uninstall the game or clear its app data.
- Reset advertising data. Reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings.
For any access, correction, portability, objection or deletion request, email support@jogiba.com. We respond within 30 days. Cloud deletion is immediate in our live database, and residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 180 days. Deletion is free and available whether or not you still have the game installed.
Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age where you live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad serving uses Google's age-appropriate settings where they apply. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of our games, email support@jogiba.com and we will delete it.
How long we keep things
Local game data stays on your device until you remove it. Cloud save and leaderboard data is kept until you delete your account or after a long period of inactivity. Ad and analytics data held by Google is retained under Google's own policies. Purchase records are retained where tax and accounting law requires it.
Security
Local data uses the platform's standard app storage protections. Everything sent to Google services is encrypted in transit with industry standard TLS. Cloud saves are protected by server-side security rules so that only your signed-in identity can read or write your data, and in games with online multiplayer the server holds all hidden information rather than trusting the client with it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can commit to is collecting as little as possible in the first place, which is the only protection that cannot fail.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy as the games change. Material changes are reflected in the effective date at the top of this page, and store listings always link to the current version. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will say so plainly rather than burying it.
