Trimosa privacy policy
Trimosa is a puzzle game published by Jogiba Gaming for Android (Google Play) and iPhone (the App Store). This policy explains what the game stores, what leaves your phone, and who else can see it. Where the two apps differ, the difference is spelled out.
No account
Trimosa has no sign-in, no account, no cloud save, no chat and nothing you write or upload.
What the game stores on your phone
Your level, coins, boosters, statistics, daily puzzle records, the level in progress, your settings, whether you have seen the tutorial, the counters that space out ads, and whether you own Remove Ads are saved in the game’s storage on your phone. Uninstalling the game removes all of it, unless your phone’s own backup (Android backup or an iPhone backup) restores it.
Analytics
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how it is played: the tutorial starting and finishing; levels and daily puzzles starting and ending, with the level number, tile set, difficulty, result, time and boosters used; booster use and coin spending; ads shown (the format and where); the steps of a Remove Ads purchase; a shared daily result (the daily number and streak); and reminder opt-in and opens. There is no user id, name or free text. Firebase adds its own random identifier for this installation of the game, the device model, operating system, app version and approximate country. Firebase’s advertising ID collection is off on Android, and ad storage is denied by default on iPhone. Nothing is collected from development builds.
Crash reports
When the game crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report: what went wrong in the code, the device model, operating system and app version, and a random installation identifier. We use it only to fix bugs.
Ads
Free players see ads from Google AdMob. There are no banners. A full-screen ad may appear only when you leave a won level: never when the game opens, never during a level, never for the daily puzzle, and none on your first day or before your twelfth cleared level. A short video plays only when you tap a booster button that says it plays an ad (a video mark and an AD badge). Remove Ads turns the full-screen ads off for good; booster videos stay available as your own choice.
To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob processes:
- the device’s advertising ID, on Android;
- on iPhone, the advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt asks. Otherwise it is never read;
- your IP address, and the approximate location worked out from it;
- device and app information: the model, operating system and app version;
- your interactions with ads, such as views and taps.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent message asks for your choice first; on iPhone the tracking prompt follows. Both appear only after your first won level, on the home screen. Settings, Privacy choices changes your consent later. On Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings; on iPhone you can change your tracking answer at any time in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.
Ads are limited by Google’s content ratings: to G (general audiences) on iPhone and to PG (parental guidance) on Android. How Google uses this data is explained in Google’s privacy policy and on how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Purchases
Remove Ads is a one-time purchase sold by Google Play on Android and the App Store on iPhone. The store handles payment; the game never sees your payment details and keeps only whether you own Remove Ads. Google Analytics for Firebase may record that a purchase was made (the product, price and currency), never payment details. Coins are earned in play only and cannot be bought.
Evening reminder
Trimosa can remind you at 19:30 your time while today’s daily puzzle waits. The reminder is off until you turn it on, and your phone asks for permission first. It is written and scheduled on your phone: nothing is sent to us or to anyone else for it. On Android the game may start briefly when your phone restarts, only to put the reminder back. Turn it off in Settings or in your phone’s notification settings.
Files the game fetches
The game fetches two small files from the studio’s Firebase Hosting: a switch that turns ads on or off, and a notice when a newer version is available. These are plain web requests with no identifiers added.
Sharing
Sharing a daily result opens your phone’s share sheet with a short text. The game itself sends nothing.
Permissions
On Android: internet, the advertising ID (for AdMob), notifications and starting after a restart (both for the optional reminder only), plus the network state permissions the ad and Firebase SDKs add.
Who else sees your data
Google, in two roles: as Firebase, which runs analytics, crash reports and the hosted files for us as a service provider, and as AdMob, the ad network that shows the ads. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Analytics and crash data are kept by Google for a limited time under Firebase’s retention settings and then deleted. Data AdMob processes for ads is kept under Google’s own policies. Everything else stays on your phone until you uninstall the game.
Deleting your data
There is no account to delete. Uninstalling the game removes everything it keeps on your phone. See Delete your data.
Children
Trimosa is a game for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
